Gavin grew up skiing and boarding in the Coast Mountains near Vancouver BC. Since finishing his studies in adventure tourism and risk management, Gavin’s passion for exploring the backcountry led him on some epic journeys. From champagne powder in Japan to corn chowder in South America, Gavin loves to chase the stoke worldwide.
Since 2012 his career to date has been focused on all things snow, including avalanche forecasting, industrial snow safety, ski guiding and education. He has worked in both the North and South of Japan as well as all over BC. When not skiing you can find him doing rescue work in high places or taking his dog Whiskey for a rip on local bike trails. He looks forward to showing you the goods in the Coast Mountains of BC or abroad.
