Aurora Backcountry started out as an idea, born in a hot sauna after a big day in the mountains.  It was here that a sudden realization occurred, every guide in the sauna was a local from an amazing mountain destination in the world.  The amount of diverse experience that had come together could never be acquired by just one person. Inspiration took hold, and a few months later Aurora Backcountry was formed. 

 

We are a collective of highly experienced, certified guides with local knowledge of some of the best mountain destinations in the world. We place value in our experience, professional certification, localism, but most importantly we value the extraordinary quality each of our guides embed into each day.  

At Aurora Backcountry we value our guests.  We strive to keep you safe, be your advocate for adventure and make sure that your needs come first, after all if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have a job.

 

Our trip packages have been meticulously planned, tried and tested. Constant improvement is mandatory to maintain high quality. You need to trust a Company's ability to manage logistics, respond to inquiries, and to engage and proactively work with guests to make sure that their experience is seamless from the day they book to the day we all say "see you next time".
