Backcountry focused, no tracks, no people.

At Aurora Backcountry, we’ve spent decades exploring mountains around the world—from Japan and Norway to New Zealand and Western Canada. Along the way, we learned that the best adventures happen with passionate local guides who know the terrain, culture, and hidden gems. That experience shaped Aurora Backcountry. We create exceptional backcountry adventures led by professional guides and handle the logistics behind the scenes, so you can focus on great turns, great people, and unforgettable mountain experiences.
