Considered one of the most iconic backcountry ski destinations in the world, Rogers Pass delivers phenomenal terrain in a truly wild alpine setting. Located in Glacier National Park within the Selkirk Mountain Range, this zone is known for its deep, consistent snowfall and dramatic landscapes. Expect everything from awesome ancient forest to impressive glaciated terrain, all connected by vast, untouched wilderness.
This is not a one-zone experience. With a vast network of terrain options, your guides will move with the conditions each day, ensuring you’re always skiing the best snow available. Whether it’s storm days spent lapping sheltered trees or bluebird missions high in the alpine, every day brings something new.
About the Guides
All our Guides are certified by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) or equivalent associations internationally recognized through the IFMGA. Their rigorous training in avalanche safety, navigation, risk management, and client care ensures your backcountry adventure is safe, personalized, and unforgettable.
The Terrain
The terrain at Rogers Pass spans from ancient old-growth forest to dramatic glaciated alpine within Glacier National Park. Sheltered glades provide refuge on storm days, while vast open glaciers and high ridgelines reward bluebird conditions. With a deep network of terrain options spread across the Selkirks, guides move fluidly with the snowpack each day, maximizing access to fresh snow and keeping the group in the best conditions available.
When are the best conditions?
Rogers Pass is at its best from December through April, when deep, consistent snowfall and longer spring days open up bigger alpine objectives. This is when the Selkirks are at their most spectacular, delivering the reliable conditions the zone is known for.

Itinerary
Arrival Day
Day 1
Meeting Time & Place: 7:00 AM at Gravity Haus Revelstoke.
Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Revelstoke. The closest airport is Kelowna International Airport (YLW), with shuttle services available directly to town. We recommend arriving at least one day early to settle in and enjoy Revelstoke before the trip begins.
On Day 1, we’ll review the trip plan, objectives, and current snowpack conditions before heading to Rogers Pass for avalanche training and a full-day ski tour. After the tour, we’ll return to Revelstoke for après and dinner.
Ski Days
Day 2 - 5
Spend the day exploring the legendary terrain of Rogers Pass. Each day, your guide will select the best objective based on current mountain conditions, weather, avalanche hazard, and the ability of the group, ensuring the best possible skiing experience. After a big day in the mountains, return to Revelstoke for a well-earned après and a great dinner.
Potential objectives may include classics such as Rogers Run, Perley Rock, Avalanche NW Couloir, Herdman Couloir, the Little Sifton Traverse, Youngs Traverse, Lily Dome Traverse, and countless other options throughout the pass. With such a vast range of terrain available, no two days are ever the same.
What happens when it snows too much 🤯
Snowmageddon Days!
There are times when access to Rogers Pass is temporarily affected by highway closures due to avalanche control or intense snowfall events. When this happens, our guides have a range of alternative touring zones ready to go, ensuring the skiing never stops. Depending on conditions, this could mean accessing the backcountry from Revelstoke Mountain Resort or exploring nearby touring areas directly from town. Flexibility is part of the experience, and your guides are always adapting to find the best possible terrain, snow, and overall day in the mountains.
