Isaac Doude Van Troostwijk

Born in the Netherlands, Isaac developed his connection to the mountains after spending time in Sweden, where he began his wilderness training and built a foundation in mountain travel. Over time, the Swedish mountains became central to his development as a guide. 

Isaac is an IFMGA/UIAGM certified Mountain Guide and has spent years working professionally in the mountains as a guide, ski patroller, and avalanche technician in northern Sweden. He later based himself in Chamonix to complete his mountain guide training and expand his experience in complex alpine terrain. 

With a strong focus on skiing and climbing, Isaac works across a wide range of environments, guiding in Sweden, Norway, and throughout the Alps. His experience spans ski touring, alpine climbing, and technical terrain, with a career built around moving efficiently and safely through remote mountain regions. 

Now based in Sweden, Isaac continues to guide year-round. With a passion for climbing, skiing, and sailing, you will often find him moving between the Swedish West Coast, the Alps, and the far north of Norway, following conditions and opportunities across seasons.
