Daniel Robb

Originally from Canmore, Alberta, Dan grew up immersed in the outdoors, spending his early years climbing steep rock walls and navigating wild rivers. After moving west to British Columbia, he quickly developed a deep connection to the Coast Mountains and built his career around guiding in complex alpine terrain.

Dan is a fully certified mountain guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), with certifications in ski guiding, rock guiding, and alpine guiding. He has led expeditions around the world and has extensive experience guiding throughout the Coast Mountains and Sea to Sky corridor.

With a strong background in avalanche safety, Dan is a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA) and also works as a certified explosives technician. His work spans guiding, avalanche risk management, and mountain safety operations in a variety of environments.
Based in Squamish, British Columbia, Dan continues to guide year-round, sharing his experience across ski mountaineering, alpine climbing, and technical terrain while helping clients move confidently and safely through the mountains.
